Dr Anthony Knight
MBBS, Dip Obs, (RANZCOG), Dip Anaes
Anthony has been practicing General Medicine since 1983. He is a family practitioner with special interests in Aged Care. When Tony isn’t at the clinic, he enjoys playing golf and following the AFL.
Dr David Rodgers
MB,BS, Dip Obs (RANZCOG), FACRRM
Dr David Rodgers (MB,BS Uni of Qld 1983, Dip Obs (Advanced) 1996, FACRRM 1996) is an experienced rural GP who has practiced in Benalla since 1998. He acquired the first Diploma of Obstetrics (Advanced) in 1996 and also has had 20 years experience in providing anaesthetics in a rural setting. Currently he has an interest in disability, mental health, addiction medicine and skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, as well as the full range of rural general practice. He one of the founders and current president of the Benalla based charity Capability Building Inc and also of EdSpace Education and Training Centre.
Dr Sarah Hancock
MBBS/BMedSci, DRANZCOG, FRACGP
Sarah is one of the practice owners. She is passionate about patient centred care and treats all her patients and staff with dignity, respect and compassion. She enjoys the constant variety that rural general practice provides.
Carli’s interests include women’s and children’s health, shared obstetric care and preventative medicine.
Dr Belinda Lacy
Belinda is returning to Carrier Street Clinic in 2021 as a General Practice Registrar after enjoying working here as an intern in 2019. She has a keen interest in rural medicine, having grown up in North East Victoria. After initially studying international relations as an undergraduate and then working in school administration, Belinda was ready for a new challenge and went back to university to study medicine. Outside of work, Belinda keeps busy with her own family, as well as extended family and friends who live in the area.
Dr Patrick McDonald
Dr McDonald is our current intern through the Murray to the Mountains Intern Program. He has studied his Doctor of Medicine from Deakin University and Bachelor of Biomedical Science from Monash University.
He has interests in rural health with future interest to pursue training in Rural General Practice with special interests in palliative care and/or anaesthetics.
Outside of work he enjoys hiking, running, cycling, enjoying the beautiful Northeast Region of Victoria and following the Geelong Cats in the AFL.
